(Exeter, PA) -- Maddie's Miracles has returned to an in-person event this year after being held virtually last year due to COVID-19. Started by Eric and Sue Nordhoy for their daughter, Maddie, the third annual event was held at Exeter High School and was a walk-a-thon to raise money for families of handicapped children. The organization has helped six families in Berks County to date and has raised 30-thousand dollars before this weekend. Maren Nordhoy, Maddie's sister, says the event features a silent auction, vendors, and an obstacle course and they plan to expand beyond Berks County when possible.
