(Leesport, PA) -- A GoFundMe for the kids of murder-suicide victims Heidi Lopez and Ernesto Lopez Milpa has raised over 15-thousand dollars. She was shot in the head and killed by her husband in Leesport Saturday night in front of their kids. He died Sunday night at Reading Hospital after shooting himself. Heidi's brother and his wife are now caring for the five children.

(Onteulaunee Township, PA) -- Berks County Coroner John Hollenbach says 46-year-old Jose Zamot of Reading has been killed on the job as a tow truck driver. Zamot was found by a worker at Berman Truck Group around 9 p.m. Tuesday. Police say he may have been laying there dead for two hours. Zamot was working for Matos Towing and Recovery and was hauling a truck tractor to Berman Truck Group when he died.

(Reading, PA) -- Roughly 17-thousand voters in Berks County have received instructions in Spanish with the wrong election day in November. County officials say they have fixed the mistake, which told voters to return the ballot by November 18 instead of 8 p.m. on November 2. County commission spokeswoman Stephanie Weaver says the wording came from the May 18 primary election and only the month had been changed.

(Berks County, PA) -- The Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal says several hundred empty battery cases burned outside East Penn Manufacturing this week. The smoke could be seen for miles Tuesday. PSP Trooper Janssen Herb says no one was hurt and there were no chemicals in the fire. The cause of the blaze is not yet known.

(Muhlenberg Township, PA) -- Several agencies including the Highway Safety Network, PennDOT and local police are working to teach drivers to pay attention around school buses. They held their Operation Safe Stop in Hyde Park yesterday. Fines for passing a school bus with its red lights on is 250-dollars, five points on the driver's license, and a 60-day suspension of the license. Officials add not knowing the laws does not excuse people for not obeying them.
