(Lancaster, PA) -- The 16-year-old accused of shooting three people at Park City Shopping Center in October says he is not guilty. Jeremiah Sanchez entered the plea at a hearing Friday. He's charged with Attempted Homicide, Aggravated Assault, and several other counts. Prosecutors say the shooting started after Sanchez got into a fight with other men. Sanchez, two men and a woman shopper were shot. Two others also were hurt trying to get away from the area. Sanchez's attorney says it appears he was attacked first.

(Lancaster, PA) -- A Republican who's the state senate's education committee chair is running for governor. Sen. Scott Martin, of Lancaster County, announced his intention to run on Saturday in a video on his campaign website and on his social media. Martin, who is 49, is a former Lancaster County commissioner, was first elected to the state senate in 2016. He becomes the second Republican state senator in a field that now numbers about 12. Governor Tom Wolf, a second-term Democrat, is restricted from serving a third term. He has endorsed the presumed Democratic nominee, state Attorney General Josh Shapiro, who is serving his second term as the state's elected attorney general.

(Emmaus, PA) -- The Emmaus Borough Council will not increase parking time limits in the borough's downtown business district. The new ordinance failed to pass last week by a 4-3 vote. Councilman John Hart said the parking modification proposal, which would've increased the time limit from two to three hours, was the result of many complaints the borough received from both residents and business owners. The failure of the new ordinance means any future parking changes would have to be introduced as new proposals at the committee level again.

(Washington, DC) -- President Joe Biden has publicly admonished the Kellogg Company for its plan to replace striking workers. The White House released an official statement Friday condemning the company, saying the president was deeply troubled by reports of Kellogg's plans to permanently replace striking workers during their ongoing collective bargaining negotiations. The statement came days after the company posted job listings for permanent replacement roles in each of its four cereal plants following a union vote to reject a proposed contract. Some 14-hundred workers have been striking since the first part of October following the expiration of a one-year extension of the contract.

(Lancaster, PA) -- A Bitcoin ATM company based in Pennsylvania, has installed a new Bitcoin ATM in Lancaster. The new machine is inside the Gas Plus Gas Station at 1902 Oregon Pike. The Bitcoin ATM is located at the back of the store, and allows customers to buy and sell bitcoin, also known as BTC. The Bitcoin ATM machine will serve the entire Lancaster area, including the Eden, Neffsville, and East Petersburg neighborhoods.
