>>Public Safety Officials Releases Advice For Supplying A Car Winter Emergency Kit
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Public Safety officials are advising drivers across the state to keep an emergency kit in their vehicles. Emergency managers released a list of tips over the weekend as winter storms crossed over large portions of the state. Safety items to keep inside your car include jumper cables, flares, ice scraper, spare cell phone charger, blanket, map, antifreeze, flashlight, and cat litter. Mechanics also say a full tank of gas will help keep fuel lines from freezing.
