>Humane Pennsylvania Waives Fees for Adoptions This Weekend
(Lancaster Co., PA) -- All adoption fees will be waived this weekend at two facilities run by Humane Pennsylvania. Officials with the organization say the one-day event will take place Saturday at their Berks and Lancaster locations from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All potential adopters are required to go through the group's adoption screening process and approval isn't guaranteed. The fees usually cover costs of microchipping and chip registration, vaccinations and spaying or neutering, among other expenses.
