(Reading, PA) -- Former County Commissioner Kevin Barnhardt has been named as the new Berks County Chief Operations Officer. He brings 15 years of commissioner experience, on top of his background in city government and the private sector. Barnhardt will be replacing Ron Seaman, who is retiring. Larry Medaglia has been named the deputy C-O-O. He's the county's current Register of Wills. The Court of Common Pleas will appoint someone to serve the remainder of Barnhardt's term and Medaglia's chief deputy will serve as the acting register of wills for now.
