Four Men Arrested With Stolen ATV
(Reading, PA) -- A Central Berks Regional policeman says he knew something was up when he kept seeing a van in the Mount Penn area on July 21st. Officer Christopher DiPietrantonio says he was suspicious because of recent thefts from area cars, but his traffic stop of the vehicle netted a whole lot more. Court papers relay how the officer detained four Reading men in the van at gunpoint and recovered a stolen ATV vehicle that was concealed in the back. One of the suspects told police the ATV was stolen from a home on Butter Lane in Exeter. The men range in age from 20 to 25 and are being held on charges of receiving stolen property and conspiracy.
