Man Arrested For Human Trafficking
(Berks County, PA) -- A Florida man is facing charges after an alleged human trafficking incident in Berks County. Police say that on Friday, two people called 9-1-1 and reported that they were being held against their will inside a tractor trailer in Bern Township. Police pulled over the truck, at which time police say a man and woman inside the truck stated that they had been traveling with William Gutierrez for weeks against their will. The victims were found to be Nicaragua natives who entered the country illegally, so they were detained by the Department of Homeland Security. Gutierrez faces several charges, including trafficking in individuals and involuntary servitude.
