Antietam School District Delays Start
(Lower Alsace, PA) -- The Antietam School District is delaying the start of classes by a week. The school board voted unanimously last night to move the beginning of the academic year to September Third. The decision is being made due to issues reconfiguring district buildings after flood damage forced the Middle-Senior School to close last year. The district will make up the lost time by converting six early dismissal days throughout the year to full days.
