>Over 30 Animals Removed From Berks County Home

(Womelsdorf, PA) -- More than 30 animals were removed from a Berks County home that is being condemned. The Animal Rescue League of Berks County says the 32 animals were taken from a property in Womelsdorf last week. The animals that were taken are 22 dogs, three cats, five snakes and two geckos, and a borough zoning ordinance only allows six animals per property. Foster homes are being sought for the animals, which are mostly in good health.
