Some Berks County Residents Asked To Limit Water Usage

(Berks County, PA) -- Residents in several Berks County townships are being asked to limit their water usage. Pennsylvania American Water is making the request to customers in the Glen Alsace service area, which includes the townships of Amity, Earl, Exeter, and Ruscombmanor as well as Mount Penn Borough. The company says a lack of rainfall in recent weeks is beginning to take its toll on water supplies. Water can be limited in several ways, such as not watering lawns and not washing vehicles.
