Building Damaged In R.M. Palmer Explosion Reopens

(West Reading, PA) -- A business that was heavily damaged in the R.M. Palmer explosion is open again. C-and-S recently celebrated the reopening of its office on Penn Avenue after being displaced for almost two years. The service and supply company was located across the street from the R.M. Palmer building when it exploded in March 2023, killing seven people. C-and-S President Scott Wicks said he hopes the reopening will "inspire hope in the neighborhood."
