Police: Assault Suspect Connected To Accidental Shooting Of Juvenile

(Reading, PA) -- Police in Reading say an assault suspect is also connected to the accidental shooting of a juvenile the same day. Authorities said 23-year-old Victor Curbelo-Cedeno hit someone with a firearm multiple times on January 20th then dropped the gun during the assault. The victim then reportedly ran off with the gun for their safety, but it discharged a short time later at a home on South Eleventh Street and struck a juvenile male. Curbelo-Cedeno faces several charges including aggravated assault.
