>>Lebanon Man Recovering After Being Struck By Hatchet

(Lebanon, PA) -- A man from Lebanon is recovering after being struck by a hatchet during a fight. It happened Saturday morning on the 900-block of Cumberland Street. Two men reportedly tried to take a bottle of booze from a business when the suspect hit one in the head with the bottle. That’s when the second man got a tire iron to respond and was hit with the hatchet by the suspect. The victim struck by the hatchet is being treated with a serious injury at the hospital. There’s no word on the suspect nor victims’ identities.

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Pennsylvania Health officials are adding 786 new COVID-19 cases to Commonwealth’s overall total. That brings PA to 101,072 confirmed or probable cases since the start of the pandemic. Sunday’s announcement also added eight more deaths related to coronavirus complications Sunday, with the statewide death toll rising to 7,015.

(Amity Twp., PA) -- A dog is dead after a garage fire in Amity Township over the weekend. It happened Sunday morning on the first block of Toll Gate Road. No one else was hurt and it’s unclear what may have caused the blaze.

>>Man Accused Of Spreading Child Pornography Through Social Media

(East Earl, PA) -- A man accused of spreading child pornography through social media is now behind bars in Lancaster County. Prosecutors say Kenneth Schmidt had hundreds of images and videos of child pornography before East Earl Township police were tipped off on June 4th by the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children. He was arrested Thursday and is in Lancaster County Prison on 75-thousand-dollars bail.

(Bern Twp., PA) -- Investigators say a body was found Friday in a wooded area near a popular walking and biking trail in Berks County. According to the Berks County District Attorney's office, a homicide investigation is underway after a man's body was found in the woods near Tully Lane and the Union Canal Trail in Bern Township. The victim hasn’t been identified.

>>Two Firefighters Recovering From Heat Exhaustion After Reading Fire

(Reading, PA) -- Two firefighters are recovering from heat exhaustion following a Friday night fire in Reading. It broke out at the corner of Pear and Greenwich [GREEN-witch] Streets and went to a second alarm within 30-minutes. The blaze was under control within an hour.

(Richmond Twp., PA) -- Investigators are calling the death of a man who was struck by a train in Richmond Township, Berks County Friday night a suicide. It was reported that a 30-year-old man from Blandon was struck by the westbound train near Ridge Street. The incident shut down three railroad crossings in Fleetwood for about four hours.

(Levittown, PA) -- Rosie the Riveter is back to producing goods for her country in a time of need yet again. Mae Krier, who was one of the World War Two "Rosie the Riveters," is making masks amid the coronavirus pandemic. The 94-year-old Pennsylvania resident told ABC News as long as just one of her masks saves one life she has done her job. She believes she has made hundreds of masks so far.
