>>Berks County Preparing Polling Places For Election

(Berks County, PA) -- Berks County officials are preparing polling places for the general election. Officials say all 202 polling stations will be electro-statically sanitized before they open. Poll workers will be required to wear masks and will have other PPE gear, such as gloves, face shields, and hand sanitizer. Plexiglass guards will be up at check-in stations at each polling place. Voters will be given a glove and a Q-tip for use on the touch screen of the voting machine and are strongly encouraged to wear masks and bring their own pens to sign in.
