Federal Funding To Pay For Electric School Buses In Reading School District
(Berks County, PA) -- The Reading School District is set to receive nearly nine-million dollars in funding to help cover the cost of putting environmentally clean school buses on the road. The state is receiving more than 56-million dollars in funding for the project which is being divided up among 19 school districts. Across the Commonwealth, those funds are expected to pay for 208 electric school buses.
