Wegmans Food Markets has announced a recall of its Food You Feel Good About Chicken Breast Nuggets due to potential contamination with bone pieces. The affected product comes in 46-ounce bags and has a best by date of August 26, 2025. The recall was initiated after Wegmans received multiple consumer complaints about bone fragments in the nuggets.

According to the Wegmans website, customers who purchased the nuggets can return them to any Wegmans store for a full refund or dispose of them. The product bears the UPC code 0-77890-25210-9 and was distributed to retail locations in several states, including New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has issued a public health alert for the product. Although no injuries have been reported, consumers are advised not to consume the nuggets. The FSIS emphasized that the product is no longer available for purchase, but some may still be in consumers' freezers.

For more information, customers can contact Wegmans at 1-855-934-3663 during business hours or reach out to the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline at 888-MPHotline (888-674-6854).
