A violent crash in Reading, Pennsylvania left a car completely split in two after it slammed into a utility pole Wednesday (March 25), startling neighbors and passersby in the area.
According to WFMZ-TV, the crash happened near the intersection of North Front Street and Exeter Street. The impact was so powerful that it snapped the car in half, leaving the vehicle completely destroyed.
Despite the severity of the wreck, no serious injuries were reported.
Maria Veloz, who had come to the area to visit her daughter, witnessed the aftermath firsthand. She told reporters it was a scene she had never seen before.
Reading police are investigating the cause of the crash. No additional details about the driver or what led up to the collision have been released at this time.
