Two men have been arrested in Berks County, Pennsylvania, for their alleged involvement in a significant drug trafficking operation. According to Pennsylvania State Police, Keith Culbert, 45, and Eddie Feliciano, 42, were apprehended following a series of raids conducted on Thursday (June 4). The operation targeted multiple locations, including apartments on N. 4th Street in Reading City and S. Miller Street in Shillington Borough.
Authorities seized a substantial amount of illegal substances, including 210 bags of heroin, 411 grams of bulk heroin, 176 grams of bulk fentanyl, 177 grams of bulk cocaine, 642 fentanyl pills, 445 ecstasy pills, 3,732 grams of bulk methamphetamine, 100 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 473 grams of bulk marijuana, 530 bags of processed THC edibles, and 24 grams of crack cocaine. Additionally, police confiscated nine pistols, two shotguns, an armored plate carrier, and $6,963 in cash.
Both men face charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, firearms violations, and other related offenses. They are currently held in Berks County Prison, with bail set at $500,000 for Culbert and $300,000 for Feliciano. Their preliminary hearings are scheduled for June 18.
The investigation, which has been ongoing for several years, involved cooperation between the state police and district attorneys' drug task forces from Berks and Schuylkill counties. The authorities believe this operation will significantly impact the drug trade in the region.
