>>County Would Use ARPA Funds To Help TLC Shelter

(Lancaster, PA) -- A social services agency in Lancaster is getting tentative approval from county commissioners to help revamp their homeless shelter. The organization called Tenfold appealed to the country to use one million-dollars of its federal COVID relief money from the American Rescue Plan Act for a new heating and cooling system. They say right now, each room at their Veterans' Victory House has a window air conditioner that doubles as a heating source. Lancaster City has already pledged about a million dollars of its ARPA money to the shelter. The full county board may vote on Tenfold's request next week.
