Man Charged with Assaulting Mother and Infant in Pennsylvania

In Susquehanna Township, Pennsylvania, 30-year-old Ramesh Gurung faces serious charges after allegedly assaulting his six-month-old son and the child's mother. The incident occurred on Thursday (December 4) around 10 p.m. at a residence on Lawrence Drive. According to the Susquehanna Township Police Department, officers responded to a 911 call where the line was left open, allowing dispatchers to hear a child crying in the background.

Upon arrival, police discovered that Gurung had allegedly picked up his infant son by the neck and thrown him onto a mattress. He then reportedly strangled the child's mother by pinning her against a door frame. The woman managed to escape and was found with visible marks on her neck.
