>>Tow Truck Operator Killed Along I-78

(Bethel Twp., PA) -- A tow truck operator is dead after being hit by a car on the side of Interstate 78 in northern Berks County. A driver lost control of the car after rear-ending another vehicle in the westbound lanes of I-78 between the Bethel and Grimes exits Tuesday evening, according to state police. The car veered across the highway, hitting and killing 29-year-old Tyler Laudenslager of Halifax, who was on a roadside assistance call. Four people in the car were taken to the hospital with moderate to severe injuries.

(Bethel Twp., PA) -- A Womelsdorf man is dead after a crash in Bethel Township Tuesday night. Ethan Green was pronounced dead at the scene in the nine-thousand-block of Route 501, also known as Lancaster Avenue. The 40-year-old and another person were in a vehicle when it crashed and flipped, throwing both from the vehicle. A second person was taken to the hospital with injuries, and police are waiting to talk to that person about what happened, the coroner's office said. It’s unclear who was driving at the time of the crash.

(Exeter Twp., PA) -- The Exeter School Board is laying out its reopening plan for the upcoming school year. They say, based on current conditions, the district has elected a total reopen for all students and staff, though some students and families can opt for distance learning out of safety and health concerns. The reopen date will be August 24th. The plan still needs to be approved by the PA Department of Education.

 (Bern Twp., PA) -- The Berks County coroner's office is looking for the family of a Reading man. Robert D. Walter was found dead Tuesday in City Park near Veteran's Grove in Reading. The 50-year-old used to live in the 900 block of North Fourth Street in the city, officials said. His cause of death has not yet been determined, but it appears to be from natural causes.
