>>Woman Rescued After Trying To Drive Through Flooded Stretch Of Ontelaunee Township Monday 

(Ontelaunee Twp., PA) -- First responders are urging people to turn around and don’t drown if they encounter flooded roads. A woman had to be rescued Monday when she tried to drive through a flooded stretch of Leesport Avenue in Ontelaunee Township.Police called a tow truck to move the car to dry land.The driver was not hurt.More flooding is possible as rain is in the forecast for Tuesday.

(East Lampeter Twp., PA) -- The Cartoon Network Hotel is reopened in Lancaster County.The operators of the one-of-a-kind hotel in East Lampeter Township shut its doors about three months ago due to the pandemic.The hotel is implementing safety regulations throughout the facility and their outdoor splash zone and pool. 

>>Exeter Township Could Revise School Reopening Plan 

(Exeter Twp., PA) -- The Exeter Township School District may revise its reopening plan.Superintendent Kimberly Minor says the district should conduct virtual learning for the first nine weeks.She says teachers have been planning and made changes like securing Chromebooks for every student.Minor says virtual learning presents challenges for some families but believes it is best for the health and safety of the community.Last month the school board approved a hybrid learning plan. 

>>Fleetwood Area Public Library’s New Location Opens 

(Fleetwood, PA) -- The Fleetwood Area Public Library’s new location is now open.The new library is inside an old machine shop behind the municipal building on West Arch Street.Officials say the new building has more open space. 

>>Berks County Santa Helps Family Impacted By Fire 

(Amity Twp., PA) -- A Berks County Santa Claus is making a special summer delivery for a family that lost nearly everything in a fire.Dutch Schrap, who is known for his portrayal of Santa Claus and for his Operation Nine Reindeer charity, raised eight-grand to give to a family of three impacted by the fire at an apartment complex in North Coventry Township, Chester County.Schrap says they are still accepting donations to help get the family back on its feet with a roof over their heads.
