>>Exeter Township School District To Furlough 90 Support Staff
(Exeter Twp., PA) -- The Exeter Township School District Board is furloughing 90 support staff members. Following a Tuesday night vote, the furloughs will be effective starting September 17th. Once the district does return to a fully in-person instruction model all the furloughed employees are to be recalled. Superintendent Kimberly Minor said that a review of all staff positions found that, during the remote instruction mode which Exeter adopted earlier this month, the district could not provide meaningful work for the employees.
