>>Berks To Fund New Round Of Grants
(Reading, PA) -- Berks County is set to provide a new group of grants to organizations in need because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Commissioners announced yesterday that the Berks County CARES Grant Program will award up to $19-million in grants to four different public areas, including public health services, municipalities and authorities, nonprofits, and educational institutions and services. The grants are only available to reimburse costs for needed expenses incurred between March 1st and September 30th.
