(Reading, PA) -- The Reading Royals will not be playing this season. The team opted out of the 2020-2021 season yesterday under the ECHL's voluntary suspension policy. Five other teams have also decided not to play. Team officials say they will be in touch with 2020-2021 plan holders to discuss membership options.
