(Reading, PA) -- Reading will undergo a study on the parking landscape of the city soon. The Reading City Council announced last night that it has awarded a contract to Pittsburgh's Desman Design Management. The contract is worth about 123-thousand-dollars and will allow for the management company to perform a citywide comprehensive parking study. City council officials say the city's parking authority is already conducting a study on the parking in downtown areas, but the new contract will give Reading a better understanding on how to manage parking resources.
