(Bern Township, PA) -- Blue Marsh Lake is temporarily closing its day-use area as work begins on a new paving project. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced yesterday that the Dry Brooks Day Use Area at Blue Marsh Lake in Bern Township will be closed starting next Thursday. The area will remain closed through May 28th, and officials say there might be additional closures made after that date. The reason for the closure is so the park can start construction on a new project that will improve its roadways.
