>Man Arrested in Connection To Shooting Outside Hotel In Berks County

(Spring Township, PA) -- One of the men involved in a shooting outside of a hotel in Spring Township is now behind bars. Officials confirmed yesterday that Pedro Franco Flores has been taken into custody and is being held at the Berks County Prison on 250-thousand-dollar bail. He is facing several charges for the incident that occurred last week including attempted murder and aggravated assault. The other suspect involved, Joel San Andres, was arrested shortly after the shooting.

(Lititz, PA) -- The Lancaster Airport in Lititz is going to be offering two new services this year. The Southern Airways Corporation announced yesterday that Lancaster Regional Airport will now offer flights to Washington Dulles International Airport and Nantucket Island. The services are expected to begin in early June.

(Cumru Township, PA) -- Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire that damaged a home in Berks County. The blaze broke out Sunday night at a house in the 300-block of Funston Avenue in Cumru Township. Officials say firefighters were able to get the flames quickly under control, and nobody was reported injured at the scene.

(Shillington, PA) -- Students at the Governor Mifflin School District are going to be enjoying their prom and graduation ceremonies outside this year. The school board announced during last night's meeting that the junior-senior prom will be held at the Reading Liederkranz on May 21st from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The class of 2021 commencement ceremony is scheduled to take place on June 4th at FirstEnergy Stadium. Officials say COVID-19 safety guidelines will be in effect at both events.
