>>Woman Charged For Burglary After Being Stabbed In Reading Home

(Reading, PA) -- A woman who was stabbed at a home in Reading is now facing burglary charges. The incident occurred Friday night at a home in the eleven-hundred- block of Franklin Street. Police say they found 31-year-old Ashley Smith on the scene suffering from a stab wound in her stomach, but after further investigation, they discovered Smith and two men forced their way inside the residence in an attempt to steal personal property. The owner of the residence allegedly stabbed Smith with a pocketknife. She was taken to the hospital for the non-life threatening injury and is now being charged with burglary and related charges.

(Reading, PA) -- A Reading man is behind bars for allegedly shooting and killing another man during a brawl in an alley seven years ago. Authorities have confirmed that Armando Ortega was taken into custody last week on two counts of first-and-third-degree murder. He is being accused of firing 15 gunshots during a brawl that killed a 27-year-old man in the 200-block of South 11th Street in 2014. Officials say two other men involved, Eliezer and Xavier Carrasquillo, are also facing murder charges.

>>Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Child In Reading

(Reading, PA) -- A man is being accused of sexually assaulting a child in Reading. Manuel Molina-Nunez was arrested Thursday at a residence in the 600-block of North 9th Street. He is facing multiple charges including rape, corruption of a minor and statutory sexual assault. Officials say Molina-Nunez started sexually abusing the victim from the time she was nine-years old. He is currently being held in the Berks County Jail on a 25-thousand-dollar bail.

>>Lancaster County Drug Task Force Raid Home, Arrest One Man

(Lancaster, PA) -- One man is behind bars after his home in Lancaster was raided last week. The Lancaster County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a home in the 600-block of Poplar Street on Thursday. Authorities say marijuana, cocaine, drug paraphernalia, ten-thousand-dollars and a stolen nine-millimeter gun was recovered during the raid. Steven Gonzalez-Morales was taken into custody, and he is currently being held in the Lancaster County Prison for multiple charges including possession with intent to distribute.

>>Vehicle Catches On Fire In Lancaster County

(West Cocalico Township, PA) -- Authorities are trying to find out what caused a car in Lancaster County to go up in flames. The incident occurred yesterday afternoon in the one-hundred-block of Schoeneck Road off of Route 272 in West Cocalico Township. Officials say firefighters found the vehicle completely engulfed in flames, and it took them almost a half-hour to battle the blaze. No one was reported injured.
