(Reading, PA) -- Santander Performing Arts Center in Reading is adding a Rock-and-Roll Hall of Famer and a popular country music group to its list of concerts to be held later this year. Joan Jett and the Blackhearts will be performing at the center on November 21st, and Little Big Town will be holding two intimate performances on October 8th and October 9th. Tickets for all of these shows will be going on sale to the public this Friday at ten-in-the-morning.

(Spring Township, PA) -- A popular festival that has been a tradition in Berks County for more than 60 years is returning after it had to be canceled last year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Apple Dumpling Festival held at Willow Glen Park in Spring Township is set to take place from June Second to June 5th. Officials say masks must be worn at all times except when visitors are eating or drinking.

>>Free Car Seat Checks To Be Held In Reading

(Reading, PA) -- The Pennsylvania State Police will be offering free car seat checks in Reading next week. The checks will be held at 600 Kenhorst Boulevard next Monday from two-to-eight-in-the-afternoon. Another event will take place next Sunday from nine-in-the-morning until three-in-the-afternoon. No appointment is required to attend.

>>Lancaster County Couple Charged After Children Found Locked In Bedroom

(Quarryville, PA) -- A Lancaster County couple is facing several charges related to child abuse after their three children were found locked inside a bedroom. Twenty-four-year-old Alexis Absher and 27-year-old Collin Decker were taken into custody over the weekend after police say they were called to a home in the 500-block of West Fifth Street for a report of three children hanging out a third floor window. Police say they recovered the children from a locked bedroom that they considered to be in deplorable conditions. The parents are being charged with three counts each of endangering the welfare of children, unlawful restraint and false imprisonment.
