(Reading, PA) -- The City of Reading and Berks County are going to get some help thanks to grants from the state's Blight Remediation Program. State Senator Judy Schwank announced yesterday that the city and the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Berks have been awarded about 200-thousand-dollars' worth of grants from the program. Officials say the funding will be used towards the Reading Buttonwood Gateway West Improvements Projects and a project in Reading's South of Penn Area.
