(Montour County, PA) -- A national study led by Geisinger is suggesting that there is a link between COVID-19 and severe strokes. The study also found that more strokes were occurring in younger COVID patients. Researchers say some COVID patients developed strokes in the absence of traditional vascular risk factors you typically see in patients with a stroke. They added that we always talk about the side effects of vaccines, but never about the side effect of not having the vaccine beyond just COVID.
