(Muhlenberg Township, PA) -- Berks County's CarbonLite recycling and pelletizing center in Muhlenberg Township is now in new hands. Mexico-based company, Albek, recently purchased the center for about 96-million-dollars. Officials say Albek was interested in purchasing the plant because of its use of state-of-the-art equipment for bottle-to-bottle recycling.
