(Reading, PA) -- A Berks County commissioner is warning residents about a new phone scam that's been going around. Commissioner Michael Rivera said during a meeting yesterday that the scam involves an individual claiming they are from the sheriff's office and demanding money. Anyone who receives such a call is being encouraged to contact the county district attorney's office.
