(Berks County, PA) -- Eviction orders in Berks County will be delayed up to 90 days by the order of Berks County President Judge Thomas Parisi. The order took effect yesterday as a national edict banning most evictions expired. The CDC order was in place since last year to help people who had lost their jobs or had their hours slashed due to COVID-19. Renters are being encouraged to get help through the Emergency Rental Assistance Program.
