Alvernia University and Customers Bank have partnered to give away 90 bicycles and helmets to Reading children. The bikes and helmets were given away at Millmont and Tyson-Schoener elementary schools. Students also received ten books each. The students received the giveaways if they had 75-percent attendance or better during the summer program.
