COVID-19 Transmission Rate Continues To Surge In Lancaster, Berks Counties
(Lancaster, PA) -- State health officials say the transmission rate of COVID-19 in Berks County is now ranked as substantial, while Lancaster County briefly hit high levels this last week. Updated information from the CDC now shows the transmission rate in Lancaster County has fallen back to substantial levels, the second highest level of transmission under federal guidelines. The CDC recommends anyone living in an area with substantial risk levels should wear masks indoors no matter their vaccination status.
