(Mountville Borough, PA) -- Two people have been killed in a crash inLancasterCounty. West Hempfield Township Police closed the eastbound lanes of Route 30 for more than six hours between Stoney Battery and Prospect roads. The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, and no names have been released.

(Lancaster, PA) -- LancasterPolice are looking for a suspect in a deadly Friday night shooting. They say 26-year-old Jomar Almestica was found shot several times in the 600-block of Hebrank Street. He died early Saturday after being taken to a hospital. Police say 27-year-old Steffen Tidwell will be charged with criminal homicide and discharging a firearm in the city once he is arrested.

(Earl Township, PA) -- Firefighters had to be sent to a home in the 700-block of Boyertown Pike in Earl Township shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday. The homeowner tried to put out a fire with a hose but wasn't successful. Fire crews said smoke was coming from the roof and the rear of the home when they arrived. No one was hurt.

(Oley Township, PA) -- The Berks County Coroner's office says 82-year-old Robert Mecherly has died after a car crash Friday night. The crash happened in Oley Township on Route 75 at Haas Road. The Colebrookdale Township man was pronounced dead at the scene around 11:15 p.m. His autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.

(Reading, PA) -- The Reading Pride Celebration has returned for its 15th year. Held Sunday, it had to be canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19. Many attendees say they were thrilled to have it back this year. The celebration was held at Centre Park.
