(Reading, PA) -- New COVID-19 cases in Berks County are up by 144 for Sunday and Monday. The Pennsylvania Department of Health says there are more than 40 people hospitalized in the county for COVID-19 for the fourth straight day. They say hospitalizations have not been this high since May 16th through the 19th, and cases shot downward after that.
