(Undated) -- Here is the latest news: Berks County District Attorney John Adams is issuing a public health alert after there were roughly 70 drug overdoses over the weekend. The suspect in a triple murder in December 2018 in Reading has been identified. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission says a contract worker at Three Mile Island has been killed in a "material handling accident."

(Reading, PA) -- Berks County District Attorney John Adams is issuing a public health alert after there were roughly 70 drug overdoses over the weekend. Reading Police Chief Richard Tornielli says half of them were in his city. Police searched a garage on North Eighth Street and found 200 bags of suspected heroin and fentanyl, ten-and-a-half grams of suspected cocaine, 141 bags of cocaine for sale and drug packaging material. Thirty-eight-year-old Jayson Cuadrado and 28-year-old Dimitri Ortega have been arrested.

(Reading, PA) -- The suspect in a triple murder in December 2018 in Reading has been identified. Police accuse Jairo Guerrero-Bautista of killing Marli Alonso, Omar Harris, and Joel Cintron. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Authorities believe the victims were targeted.

(East Lampeter Township, PA) -- East Lampeter Township Police are trying to find 48-year-old Theresa Stewart. The Lancaster County woman has not had any contact with relatives since July. Stewart was last known to be in the 28-hundred-block of Lincoln Highway East. 

>>Material Handling Accident Kills Three Mile Island Plant Worker

(Londonderry Township, PA) -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission says a contract worker at Three Mile Island has been killed in a "material handling accident." The nuclear plant has been shut down since September 2019 and is being decommissioned. The NRC says the employee was outside the radiological controlled area when the death occurred while they were unloading equipment from a truck. Exelon Generation owns TMI Unit 1 and says they are "deeply saddened" by the death.

(Reading, PA) -- Reading Police are investigating after two people were shot Monday afternoon near North 10th and Spring streets. No information about what happened has been released yet. Police were called to the scene just after 2 p.m. on a report someone was shot in the head. The second victim was found a half-block away.
