(Reading, PA) -- Alvernia University has officially opened its CollegeTown campus in downtown Reading. University president John Loyack celebrated its opening yesterday after more than a year and a half of work. Students and staff have been on the campus for several weeks, but the grand opening was done Tuesday. Alvernia University board chairman Michael Fromm called the campus "a catalyst for transformation."
