(Reading, PA) -- Hospitals in Berks County are preparing for the approval from the state to start scheduling COVID-19 booster shots to people. Both Tower Health and the Berks Community Health Center are currently giving them to people with compromised immune systems. Berks Community Health Center chief medical officer Dr. Mary Kelleher says they are anticipating the demand and planning how to respond.
