(Birdsboro, PA) -- A cat impounded by the Animal Rescue League of Berks County's Department of Animal Protection has tested positive for rabies. The cat was caught in Birdsboro near the intersection of East Main and North Water streets. The cat had bitten a Birdsboro resident, who has received treatment.
