(Reading, PA) -- More than seven-million-dollars in contracts to build the new fire station in Reading have been approved by the city council. The largest was nearly six-million-dollars for general contractor, awarded to Perrotto Builders Limited of Reading. Groundbreaking is expected in October. The station will be on what is now the Ninth and Marion Playground.
