(Lancaster, PA) -- A health advisory council is expected to be approved today by the Lancaster County commission. Most commissioners have rejected creating a county health department, which Commissioner Ray D'Agostino called "unaccountable, unelected, authoritarian" and not what most would want. The advisory council would be based on the emergency team that was created in the spring of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
