(Harrisburg, PA) -- Seventy-percent of adults statewide are now vaccinated for COVID-19. Governor Wolf made the announcement on Twitter, calling it "huge progress" for protecting people. Wolf adds that the state will roll out booster shots and also announce vaccines for younger children.

(Reading, PA) -- The Pennsylvania Department of Health says 135 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Berks County on Thursday. There were six Berks county residents who were reported dead of the virus yesterday. The county has lost one-thousand-119 people to COVID-19 and 56-thousand-622 people in Berks have tested positive.

(Berks County, PA) -- State Senator Bob Mensch will not run for another term. His district includes part of eastern Berks County and he has been in state government for the past 16 years. Mensch says he is announcing his retirement now to open up the race to more candidates.

(Shillington, PA) -- The Berks County coroner's office says the woman killed in a Saturday fire in Shillington has been identified as 49-year-old Candy Gray. Smoke inhalation caused her death according to her autopsy. Gray was found dead on the second floor. The fire is still under investigation.

(Reading, PA) -- A Reading man is pleading guilty during his murder trial. Thirty-six-year-old Jonathan Malave's trial started Tuesday, and he pleaded guilty to third-degree murder, robbery, and conspiracy to commit robbery. He was sentenced to 17 to 34 years in prison for killing 17-year-old David Doyle the Third.
