>>Number of COVID Cases Up Among Children Across the State

(Harrisburg, PA) -- The number of COVID-19 cases among school-aged children is nearly three times greater this year than it was throughout 2020. State officials say between October 27th and November 2nd, 2020, there were just under 17-hundred total cases of COVID cases in school-aged kids. That's compared to a little over 49-hundred in the same age group during the same week in 2021. Health authorities say they hope the numbers will go down with the start of vaccinations for children ages five and up across the state.
