(Elverson, PA) -- Two local teams are advancing to the PIAA state championships in field hockey after defeating opponents Tuesday night. The Oley Valley Girls team advances with their win over Wyoming Area in PIAA Class 1A. The Twin Valley Girls team beat Southern Lehigh in overtime to reach the championship level in Class 2A. Makayla Carahaly scored a little over three minutes into overtime to give the Raiders the point needed for the victory.
