(Lower Alsace Township, PA) -- A 13-year-old hit-and-run victim has been released from the hospital as the investigation to find answers in the case continues. The hit-and-run happened near Roosevelt and Columbia Streets in Stony Creek Monday afternoon. The boy reportedly fell when in the street and his legs were run over by a driver who didn't stop. Central Berks Police say the driver told them the teen ran into the side of his car, but he didn't realize he was injured when he drove off. The PD is considering charges against the driver, saying it's never okay to leave a scene without calling for help.
